"Own a pony" days for children are run at Bowhouse throughout the school holidays. The days run from 10am until 2.30pm, and give the children experience of “owning” and being responsible for a pony. The children learn how to tack their pony up and how to groom it properly, they go on a short hack, and the day culminates with a riding lesson in the arena. Pony Camps Children must be at least 7years old to attend Pony Camp or go on an Own a Pony Day. They are required to bring their own packed lunch and waterproof clothing. Wellies are advisable, but all riding boots and riding hats are provided. |
