Arenas at The Scottish Equestrian Centre at Bowhouse

Indoor Arena

The Indoor Arena is 34 by 22 metres with a silica sand/elastic rubber mix, which is regularly watered.

It sits in the centre of the three main stable blocks, is well lit, and offers an excellent surface for year round use.

There is a small viewing gallery overlooking the arena, for those wishing to watch the activities and lessons.

Outdoor Arena

The Outdoor Arena is 60 by 40 metres, again with a silica sand/elastic strand base.

The arena is easily accessible from the stable blocks, and boasts an automatic irrigation system to keep the surface at it’s best for riding.
